The FGD is an internationally-active group of companies. Since its foundation in 1992, various companies have been founded and constantly developed. Even though all these companies are specialized in different business areas, they complement each other ideally. The main aim of the FGD is steady development of products out of waste material.

With approximately 100 employees, the FGD's business volume for 2007 is approximated to be 30 Mio. €. The strategy employed by the FGD aims at sustainable value enhancement in our core business areas, namely recovery of precious metals and mechanical engineering.

Our research capacities are focussed on future technologies such as air purification and alternative energies using catalysts coated with precious metals. The centralised leadership with clearly distributed roles strengthens the decentralised areas of performance in achieving their operational goals. The desicion making of all employees is guided by six core values: competence in the respective field of activity, innovation in developing new products and processes, openness and honesty while interacting, reliability while executing projects and sustainability in development.
